A really showy speciman of this rare mineral from the famous find made in the mid 1990's. The blue on this is a real electric blue, and there is also greenish smears of libethenite as well. This mine produced many world class specimans, and possibly the best specimans of this mineral ever found.
The sampleite was in waste rock and so ended up on a waste dump, which was eventually covered and rehabilitated, basically ensuring no more specimans will ever be recovered. A rare mineral in cabinet sized specimans and very hard to get nowdays.
